The Second wine of the magnificent Château Clos de Boüard, Dame de Boüard presents all the typicity of a great wine from Montagne-Saint-Émilion, an appellation located on the Right bank of the Bordeaux region, a few kilometers from Saint-Émilion.
The Château Clos de Boüard estate covers 30 hectares of vines, aged 40 years on average, planted on clay-limestone hillsides with beautiful southern exposure.
The Dame de Boüard 2018 results from a very thorough selection of the finest grapes, sorted manually, then by a Mistral and finally by optical sorting. The blend is made up of 66% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is aged for 10 to 14 months in barrels, of which 30% is new oak.
Produced by the talented Winemaker Coralie Boüard de Laforest and Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, the Dame de Boüard 2018 is a charming and elegant red wine from Montagne Saint-Émilion.
