A new range of single malts from the Royal Brackla distillery was launched as part of The Last Great Malts series. The Royal Brackla 12 Year Old forms the base of this new range, and is a whisky that is characterized by being light and grassy with just a bit of sherry sweetness. After its initial maturation, this single malt whisky is finished in first fill Oloroso casks. Light and spicy with notes of vanilla and black pepper.
Rich and exuberant. The full bodied spice of Oloroso and the bright summer breeze of Royal Brackla elegantly combine as a smooth and inviting dram – ripe peaches, black cherries, chocolate covered almonds and muscovado sugar.
