Coteaux Bourguignons covers four French departments and thus offers a wide pallet of soils. It comprises wines that can either be mono-varietal or a blend of several varietals like the well-known Pinot Noir, Gamay, or the more confidential César. They thrive on marn and limestone soils to offer fruity wines with round tannins..
Cold maceration prior to fermenting, then vinification in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. After 15 days maceration, 30% of the cuvée is aged in barrels.
TASTING NOTES:
COLOUR: Deep, garnet
NOSE: Greedy scents of red fruits and blackberry on the nose.
MOUTH: Fruity and tasty on the palate.
FOOD PAIRING: Goes as well with barbecue, as with salads or even smoked sausages.
